Deskercise is provided on 35 DVD's ï¿½ one DVD per week. Each DVD contains 5 episodes designed for daily use (M-F). Each daily episode runs about ten minutes and includes warm-up and cool-down segments along with a different U.S. geography lesson and unique health tip. All 175 episodes combine live action, music and animation.
Each episode begins with short geography lesson related to a state, territory or country.
This geographic element of the show is expanded and viewers learn three healthy things they might do in the particular state or country, from hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, to climbing the Eiffel Tower in France.
Then, Slim introduces two animated characters, "Woody Deskenrow" and "Happy". These characters appear in the themed segment of the show. For example, Slim may do desk push-ups, or seated crunches.
Next, Slim leads the viewers in a short warm-up to be done standing next to their desks.
Following this, Slim leads viewers into the main exercise segment based on the weekly theme.
Upon completion of this segment, viewers cool-down, while they listen to a specific health tip they can use to increase their over-all fitness.
